(UW ATHLETICS) – The Wisconsin men’s hockey program has added an exhibition game on the road at Western Michigan on Saturday, Oct. 24. Puck drop will take place at 5 p.m. CT.
The Badgers will visit Kalamazoo, Michigan, for the first time since playing at the Broncos on Nov. 27 and 28, 1981. UW won a 9-2 contest before falling 3-2 in the second game of that two-game series. Those are the only two games played in Kalamazoo in the all-time series, which the Badgers lead 10-5-1.
Western Michigan, the 2025 NCAA Champions, and Wisconsin, the 2026 NCAA runners-up, skated against each other last December in the 2025 Kwik Trip Holiday Face-Off at Fiserv Forum in Milwaukee.
Wisconsin opens its 2026-27 season on Friday, Oct. 2 at the Kohl Center against Robert Morris.
