(WNFL) – WNFL’s top five football teams features teams that all won by comfortable scores last week.
- Bay Port – The Pirates cruised out to a 44-0 halftime lead on the way to a 58-7 win over Green Bay Southwest. Braydon Maney and Bray Babich combined for 236 yards passing. Up next: The De Pere Redbirds, Thursday, Sept. 17
- Notre Dame – The Tritons led 42-0 at halftime in their 52-0 win over Sheboygan South. Kingston Allen needed just 16 carries to amass 237 yards rushing and 6 touchdowns. Up next: At Green Bay East, Thursday, Sept. 17.
- West De Pere – The Phantoms bottled up Ashwaubenon 38-0. Kainan Strong rushed for 217 yards on just 13 carries. Up next: Appleton West, Thursday, Sept. 17
- Freedom – The Irish rolled past the Denmark Vikings 49-7 in a game they led 35-0 at halftime. Owen Henkel completed 10-0f-19 passes for 151 yards. Axzil Eggert rushed for 109 yards and 4 touchdowns on 13 carries. Up next: At Kohler/Sheboygan Christian/Lutheran, Friday, Sept. 18.
- Little Chute – The Mustangs with their stick to the ground offense beat Luxemburg-Casco 49-14 but they didn’t break the game open until the fourth quarter when they outscored the Spartans 29-7. Reece Joten led Little Chute with 176 yards rushing on 20 carries. Up next: The Sheboygan Falls Falcons, Friday, Sept. 18.
