(LEARFIELD) – A three-run rally in the first inning gave Miami a lead it wouldn’t give up Sunday afternoon.
The Marlins built their lead to 5-1 before finally winning 5-3.
That ended the Brewers’ four-game winning streak.
Jacob Misiorowski absorbed the loss even though only one of the three runs he surrendered was earned.
Brewers manager Pat Murphy talked about Misiorowski did.
Murphy added this about Misiorowski.
Murphy said that at least they got out of Miami with a series win.
Second baseman Brice Turang extended his on-base streak to 25 in a row with a single.
Milwaukee is off tonight and then meet the Tigers in Detroit with Kyle Harrison scheduled to start.
