OSHKOSH, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — The name of Oshkosh’s newest rock music festival is taking a slight detour.
The recently announced one-day rock music festival produced by Oshkosh Festivals LLC will now be known as XRoads41 Rock Detour.
Due to a trademark conflict, XRoads41 organizers have discontinued use of part of the event’s original name. The conflict involves a rock radio personality whose show currently holds the trademark. While the change to the sub-brand comes as an unexpected development, organizers are approaching the transition with both humor and a commitment to continuity.
While the name has slightly changed, all other elements of the event remain exactly the same, including the lineup, date, and overall fan experience.
Headlining the Aug. 9th festival is multiplatinum Breaking Benjamin, leading a lineup of 11 acts across three stages. The full lineup includes: Daughtry, Memphis May Fire, Dorothy, Drowning Pool, Atreyu, Saliva, Saving Abel, 12 Stones, Kelsey Hickman, and Rogue Royal.
Tickets and camping for XRoads41 Rock Detour go on sale to the public on Friday, April 17 at 10 a.m. All tickets and event details will be available at xroads41rock.com.
Super Early Bird pricing will be in effect from April 17 through April 24, after which ticket prices will increase.
