Oct 23 (Reuters) – Marathon and former Olympic champion Peres Jepchirchir of Kenya has been provisionally suspended after an out-of-competition sample collected in Kenya before her Sydney Marathon victory returned an adverse analytical finding for EPO, the Athletics Integrity Unit said on Friday.
The 33-year-old, a former half-marathon world record holder, is also a four-time World Marathon Majors winner.
