(WTAQ-WLUK) — A former Sevastopol principal was charged in Minnesota for allegedly sexually assaulting a student who lived with her there.
Mary Lynn Donaldson was charged with two counts of criminal sexual misconduct involving a former student in Hennepin County.
According to the complaint, prosecutors say Donaldson abused a student while she held authority over him at school. One count covers conduct when the student was 13 to 15, and the second covers conduct when he was 16 and 17.
The complaint states the student later told police he moved into Donaldson’s home in Robbinsdale and that the first reported encounter happened there. He said it involved manual stimulation and oral sex, and that sex acts then happened numerous times a week.
The complaint says the encounters became less frequent during grade 11 and grade 12 because Donaldson moved to Wisconsin. Even then, the man told investigators she still traveled back to Minnesota and engaged in sex acts with him.
Donaldson was ordered to appear in court Nov. 9.
The complaint does not name the Wisconsin school district, but Sevastopol superintendent Randi Ryskoski told FOX 11 it is her understanding it the same person.
In 2016, Donaldson was placed on leave from being principal at Sevastopol Elementary School. It was at her request, but a reason was not stated at the time.
Ryskoski said the district has not had a chance to review its files since the charges were issued.
The Minnesota criminal complaint does not list any victims as being from Wisconsin. Donaldson does not have any criminal cases in Wisconsin.
According to the Door County Sheriff’s Department, it does not have any information regarding any investigations with Donaldson.
