(ST. NORBERT COMMUNICATIONS) – DE PERE – St. Norbert College has been picked third in the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference’s annual pre-season poll of the league’s coaches and sports information directors.
The Green Knights totaled 122 points. Aurora University was the pre-season favorite with 149 points and 12 first-place votes. Defending champion Concordia University Wisconsin was picked second with 132 points and three first-place votes.
St. Norbert opens its season on Sept. 6 against Carroll University at Schneider Stadium. The Green Knights open conference play at Eureka College on Sept. 19.
