(LEARFIELD) – The Milwaukee Brewers won their seventh straight series at home, scoring six runs in the first on the way to a 7-4 win Thursday afternoon at American Family Field in Milwaukee.
Garrett Mitchell went 3-for-4 with a homer and three RBI.
Mitchell also made some great defensive plays in centerfield which he talked about.
He said that right now the confidence level is good.
Chad Patrick picked up the win in relief and Trevor Megill locked down his 23rd save.
The Brewers bullpen was dominant in the series against Seattle, not allowing a run in 16 1/3 innings.
Brewers reliever Aaron Ashby talked about that.
And Ashby said that Trevor McGill is locked in.
Robert Gasser started the game and only lasted 3 2/3 innings, allowing 4 runs on 4 hits and 4 walks while striking out 4 before getting pulled by Brewers manager Pat Murphy.
Gasser talked about not going deeper in games.
He also talked about the 4 walks.

Jacob Misiorowski is scheduled to start this afternoon’s game at home against the Atlanta Braves. Misiorowski is 12-5 with a 1.75 ERA.
The Braves will counter with Chris Sale. Sale is 12-8 with a 2.16 ERA.
