(WTAQ-WLUK) — A Manitowoc man cashed in on his $3.8 million winning Megabucks ticket.
The man purchased the winning ticket from the Wednesday, June 24, 2026, drawing from a Kwik Trip on 750 E. Green Bay Ave. in Saukville.
The winning numbers were 1-8-12-24-26-27.
The Manitowoc man’s big win is the largest Wisconsin Lottery prize awarded this year.
Wisconsin Lottery retailers who sell winning tickets over $599 receive a two percent Retailer Performance Winning Ticket Incentive, up to $100,000.
The Saukville Kwik Trip win is the second Megabucks jackpot won in 2026. The first time came on January 28 when a player purchased a winning $1.5 million ticket from a Millgate General Store in Burlington.
Not to be confused with the multi-jurisdictional game Mega Millions, Megabucks is only offered in Wisconsin and is one of the longest-running Lotto games in the Badger State. Megabucks players can purchase two plays for $1. The odds of winning the jackpot are 1:6,991,908. Megabucks has drawings on Wednesday and Saturdays. Tickets must be purchased before 9 p.m. on Wednesday and Saturday to be included in that day’s drawing.
