(MILWAUKEE BREWERS) – The Milwaukee Brewers have signed outfielder Luis Lara to a seven-year contract through 2032 with club options for 2033, 2034 and 2035.
He has been added to the 40-man roster and optioned to Triple-A Nashville.
In a corresponding move, left-handed pitcher Brian Fitzpatrick was transferred to the 60-day injured list.
The announcement was made by President of Baseball Operations and General Manager Matt Arnold.
