GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — Sarah Dahl was sentenced to seven years in prison for providing the fentanyl which killed her boyfriend on Christmas Day in 2022.
She was also placed on extended supervision for eight years at Monday’s sentencing hearing by Judge John Zakowski, court records show.
Dahl, 33, previously pleaded no contest to one count of first-degree reckless homicide.
According to the criminal complaint, police were called to a residence in the town of Morrison on Dec. 26, 2022. They discovered a 37-year-old man who wasn’t breathing and was subsequently declared dead. He was identified as “DJT” in the complaint.
Police found a variety of drugs and drug paraphernalia inside the home and cell phone records outlined drug deals. A witness told police Dahl said she had given DJT two “oxy” pills as a gift and that the death was an overdose, the complaint states.
