(LEARFIELD/247NEWSSOURCE) – The Milwaukee Brewers began their series with the Arizona Diamondbacks with a lopsided win.
Milwaukee scored eight sixth-inning runs and crushed the Arizona Diamondbacks 13-2 at American Family Field in Milwaukee.
Brewers manager Pat Murphy talked about the sixth inning.
Murphy also talked about Sal Frelick ending the team’s home run drought.
Tyler Black led the Milwaukee attack, going three-for-five with three RBI.
Chad Patrick picked up the win and Jake Woodford tossed three scoreless innings to secure the save.
The teams will continue their series today.
Brandon Sproat will start for the Brewers while Arizona will counter with Ed Rodriguez.

First baseman Andrew Vaughn and outfielder Jackson Chourio will begin rehab assignments with Triple-A Nashville tonight ahead of a return to the big leagues next week.
