(247NEWSSOURCE/LEARFIELD) – The Green Bay Packers are continuing their search for a new defensive coordinator.
According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Green Bay interviewed former Cardinals coach Jonathan Gannon on Thursday.
Gannon was fired by Arizona after going 15-and-36 over three seasons.
Meanwhile, in Miami, new Dolphis head coach Jeff Hafley says he has nothing but love for the friends, co-workers, and players he leaves behind in Green Bay.
Hafley and Miami general manager Jon-Eric Sullivan spoke with reporters at a news conference on Thursday.
Even though Hafley has no head coaching experience, Sullivan says bringing him was a “slam dunk.”
The former Packers defensive coordinator says his two years in Green Bay were the best of his life so far.
He calls Packers head coach Matt LaFleur a “great coach” and “a great friend.”
