(LEAFIELD/WNFL) – There has been much chatter about whether or not the Green Bay Packers will look to extend coach Matt LaFleur’s contract which has one season remaining or move on in a different direction.
Various media reports have the Packers looking to extend his contract.
If key players in the lockerroom have any say in the matter, LaFleur should stay.
Packers tight end Tucker Kraft said that there is no doubt that LaFleur should be back.
Christian Watson said that he is a supporter of LaFleur.
Micah Parsons believes LaFleur should be back.
Parsons said that he would hate to see the Packers let a good coach get away.
Injury updates: Packers offensive lineman has had his season end prematurely two seasons in a row, suffering a torn pect in 2024 and now a partially torn patella this year. He said that he’s disappointed and looking for answers.
Meanwhile, Micah Parsons talked about his targeted return date from his torn ACL.
DaVonte Wyatt who has been out since week 13 with fractured ankle said that he has a lot left in him.
Takeaway from the loss: Packers safety Xavier McKinney said that they need to let what happened on Saturday soak in and learn from it.
