(WNFL/LEARFIELD) – Green Bay Packers coach Matt LaFleur held his season-ending news conference Sunday afternoon following Saturday’s loss to the Chicago Bears.
Much of the attention was focussed on LaFleur’s job status with the Packers.
LaFleur talked about keeping his job status away from what’s important, analyzing the season.
He discussed not being able to pull out a win, ending their season in Chicago.
LaFleur said that, of course, he still wants to be the head coach of the Packers
LaFleur said that Green Bay is a great place to live and raise a family.
LaFleur then discussed the players effort against the Bears.
He also talked about why the lack of composure in key moments keeps popping up.
To the lockerroom: Packers running back Josh Jacobs said that it was hard to believe they lost to the Bears.
He said that they just didn’t finish it off.
Is Jacobs concerned about LaFleur’s future?
Jacobs said that he is in the coach’s corner.
Javon Bullard said that this loss is on the players.
And, yes, it’s a tough one to take.
