(LEARFIELD) – When the Packers play the Chicago Bears Saturday night, Green Bay running back Josh Jacobs hopes to be playing.
Jacobs who banged up his knee in Sunday’s game against the Denver Broncos was asked how his knee is feeling.
He said that after he banged up his knee, it became a matter of mind over matter.
Will he be able to play Saturday night?
Jacobs also talked about how the team will move on without Micah Parsons.
Prepping for the Bears: Packers coach Matt LaFleur talked about getting ready for this Saturday’s game against the Bears. One of the topics was the availability of offensive lineman Zach Tom.
LaFleur also talked about Christian Watson’s health.
LaFleur said that they feel really good about their chances on Saturday.
LaFleur said that while the loss of Micah Parsons certainly hurts, they do have a plan for playing without him.
Part of that plan is Lukas Van Ess who played 22 snaps against Denver but LaFleur said replacing Parsons doesn’t all fall on the shoulders of Van Ess.
Forecast: It should be mostly cloudy and breezy with the temperature in the low 30s at kickoff on Saturday.
