(247NEWSSOURCE/LEARFIELD) – The WashingtonWizards overcame a 16-point deficit to beat the Bucks 129-126 at home.
CJ McCollum led Washington with 28 points, while Marvin Bagley The Third added 22 points and nine rebounds.
A 3-pointer by former Bucks player Khris Middleton put Washington ahead to stay at 124-122. After an Antetokounmpo free throw, McCollum then clinched the game with a 3-point basket.
The Wizards are now 3-and-16 on the season with the victory.
Bucks coach Doc Rivers said that the team was off all night against the Wizards.
Rivers said that the team was sluggish after beating Brooklyn on Saturday.
Kevin Porter Jr. had a team-high 30 points in the Milwaukee setback, while Giannis Antetokounmpo had 26 points of his own.
Porter said that he’s working hard to return to the Bucks.
He said that he had to leave the game with back spasms.
The Bucks fall to 9-and-13 with the loss.
