City of Appleton
APPLETON, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — A power outage is disrupting parts of downtown Appleton, including City Hall and the library.
Both City Hall and the Appleton Public Library are closed Wednesday due to the power outage. City services are also down for the day.
The pre-scheduled Thanksgiving holiday hours remain unchanged:
City Hall hours
- Wednesday, November 26: Closed due to power outage
- Thursday, November 27: Closed for Thanksgiving
- Friday, November 28: Closed
- Saturday–Sunday: Closed (regular weekend schedule)
- Monday, December 1: Regular operating hours resume
Appleton Public Library hours
- Wednesday, November 26: Closed for the remainder of the day due to the power outage
- Thursday, November 27: Closed for Thanksgiving
- Friday, November 28: Open 9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
The city will issue updates regarding the outage as more details become available. Officials did not say if the outage was weather-related.
