Assistant professor of philosophy at St. Norbert College, Ben Chan, appears on Jeopardy! PC: Fox 11 Online
(WTAQ-WLUK) — Green Bay native Ben Chan will compete in the second annual “Jeopardy!” Invitational Tournament, according to a release from JEOPARDY! Productions Inc.
Chan is one of 27 fan favorite champions from past seasons competing in the tournament, which is set to begin following the conclusion of the “Jeopardy!” Tournament of Champions later this month.
Contestants will compete across three rounds of competition, concluding with a multiple game finals series to crown the next JIT Champion.
Chan was a nine-game champion during Season 39, which earned him a spot in last year’s “Jeopardy!” Tournament of Champions, where he finished as first runner-up.
He won more than $250,000 during his Season 39 run, as well as another $100,000 for his finish in the Tournament of Champions.
Chan is currently a philosophy professor at St. Norbert College.
“Jeopardy!” airs at 6 p.m. weeknights on FOX 11.
