GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — As our weather continues to heat up, so does the action in downtown Green Bay.
Officials held a news conference Thursday on the CityDeck to unveil On Broadway, Inc. and Downtown Green Bay, Inc.’s 2024 summer event schedule.
More than 70 downtown activities happening throughout the summer are highlighted in the guide, including:
Wednesday and Saturday Farmers’ Markets
Levitt AMP Green Bay Music Series
Fridays on the Fox
igNight Market
CityDeck Family Shows
Theatre in the Park and Children’s Theatre in the Park
Fire over the Fox
ArtFest Green Bay
“It takes a team effort, it takes an entirety of a community to create these kinds of events. It’s our principal responsibility to create these spaces, to create these facilities, but it’s these community organizations and individuals that make these great things happen, so I’m just thrilled about another great summer in the city of Green Bay coming up here, right around the corner,” said Mayor Eric Genrich.
Kicking things off is the Farmers’ Market on Broadway on May 22, with the Saturday Farmers Market beginning May 25.
