ST. GERMAIN, WI (WSAU) — A St. Germain man was killed in a snowmobile crash Wednesday night on Found Lake Road in Vilas County.
The Sheriff’s Dept reports they were called out around 7pm. The investigation shows that the 62 year old man was headed west in the eastbound lane of the road when he hit a vehicle in the eastbound lane.
Authorities say speed was a factor in the crash. The victims name has not been released. It is the first snowmobile fatality in Vilas County this year.
