SHEBOYGAN, WI (WHBL) – An investigation is underway in Sheboygan after an apartment fire Sunday night. The fire broke out at around 8:30 at an apartment complex on Eisner Court.
Officials say a multi-unit response was dispatched and 6 units responded. Upon arrival, it was discovered that a mattress was burning outside of the residence. The fire was extinguished and the building was then ventilated.
The occupants were quickly alerted to the fire by working smoke detectors and there were no injuries. As for the cause, investigators say it was a juvenile playing with smoking materials.
