- 1/4 cup of your favorite BBQ sauce (preferably KC or tomato based)
- 2 Tbsp Jack Daniels whiskey
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 tsp molasses
For the burgers:
- 1 1/2 lbs. ground chuck
- 1/3 cup shredded cheese of your choice (I used Monterrey jack)
- Ground black pepper
- Salt
For the sauce, combine all the ingredients in a bowl and whisk together and set aside.
For the burgers, mix the beef and cheese together and form into patties, salt and pepper the patties.
Grill the burgers to desired doneness, top with sauce and serve. I also topped the burgers with some fried onions.
