The Bear and Charli in the Morning feature lots of great country music, interspersed with interviews from today's hottest country artists, great game, and plenty of fun.

My Name is: "Bear"

I was born an raised in: Duluth MN.

Married to: A very lovely lady named Bridget for almost 28 years

Children: Melanie, Richard and Ruth

Military service: Air Force Veteran

Why I love working at Y100: It is one of the best radio stations in America and the listeners are my good friends.

I live in: Green Bay WI. On the East Side...way on the East Side.

I am: a conscientious, friendly, caring Wisconsinite who loves family, friends and fellow Americans.

I would do anything for: a family member, coworker or a kid in need.

My favorite TV shows are: "Idol", " "Mail Call," historical movies and just about anything on the History or Discovery Channels.

My favorite Web site is: www.newyorktimes.com

A movie I really love is: "Ray" I have been a Ray Charles fan for years. It's too bad some legends are not recognized until after they die.

My favorite junk food is: Hot chicken wings and lots of Blue Cheese dressing.

My favorite health food is: A leafy salad with extra cabbage and carrots with a home made, low-cal dressing

My favorite food is: Just about anything you can cook in a crockpot with lots of gravy!

Last book read: "Geralds Game" by Stephen King. I bought this book a t garage sale for 25 cents. The last 100 pages floored me.

Book I recommend: "Lord of the Ring's" Trilogy including "The Hobbit." I read this 30 years ago and again last year. The movies are good, but the books are way better.

Favorite Country stars: Brad Paisley (male), Carrie Underwood (female) and Little Bigtown (group).

When not listening to Country I listen to: "The Fabulous Thunderbirds", "Fairport Convention" and just about anything that sounds good including classical, Cajun and funk and Tex-Mex.

I have learned the most from: My wife Bridget, my children and "life's speed bumps."

Hobbies: TaekwonDo (2nd degree black belt) and anything to do with aircraft.

My hero's: My son Richard who is a Ssgt. and Crew Chief on an F-16 in With the Wiscosin Air Guard. When the Air Force got Rick, they got one of the best. He has become a terrific Crew Chief. Reverend Billy Graham because he judges nobody and makes believing in God simple the way it should be.

Likes: Bridget's big brown eyes, a smile from a small child, a pat on the back from my boss and watching a military jet fly by.

Dislikes: Mushy apples, lousy, impatient drivers, dull cutting knives, racists, people who ask how are when they could not care less and people who think you are a bad person because you do not view the world as they do and emails in all lower case.

I cannot imagine life without: the Green Bay Packers and my Wife.

If I won $10,000,000 I would: Pay off my church's building debt set up a trust fund for my children and find an Oceanside home in Ixtopa Mexico for those long weekends!

I am most proud of: My long career in radio, my long marriage, my children, my service to my country and my black belts.

My goals for 2008: To continue to have one of the highest rated radio shows in Wisconsin, to get to understand Jesus Christ better, to enjoy my family more, to get my next Black belt and to continue to try to learn and improve myself.
