GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – Four people had to be treated for burns following a duplex fire on Green Bay’s west side.
Crews were sent to the residence at 1330 Locust St. around 1:30 this morning for report of smoke and flames.
Crews were able to contain the fire within ten minutes to a back bedroom. Other parts of the home had smoke and water damage.
One person was taken to the hospital with a medical issue and another person went to the hospital to be treated for minor, second-degree burns. Both individuals have since been released from the hospital.
Three others were treated on scene for minor burns.
The fire is estimated to have cost about $40,000 worth of damage and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
