Here’s a delicious rub recipe that you will easily be able to commit to memory. It’s as easy as it is delicious.
Here’s what you’ll need:
- 5 Tbsp paprika
- 4 Tbsp brown sugar
- 3 Tbsp kosher salt
- 2 Tbsp black pepper
- 1 Tbsp cumin
Mix the ingredients together, and set aside. Keep in an airtight container and away from heat, and it should keep for a few months. To prepare the ribs, rinse thoroughly and pat dry with a paper towel.
Then, spread a little yellow mustard on the ribs to help the rub stick.
Sprinkle the ribs generously with the rub.
Cook in the smoker for a total of 5 hours at 230°. The first to hours on full smoke. The following 2 hours wrapped in foil. And the final hour back on the rack with a coating of your favorite sauce.
