OSHKOSH, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — The University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh is bringing back its men’s soccer program.
Athletic director Darryl Sims said the reinstatement of the program is “effective immediately.”
In a news conference Monday, Sims said a national search for a head coach would begin immediately. The team will begin competing in 2027.
The men’s soccer team was disbanded in 2015 as a budget measure, as well as the men’s tennis team.
