GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — Give BIG Green Bay is back for another year of supporting local nonprofits.
Officials announced Tuesday the list of 50 organizations participating in the 9th annual Give BIG campaign, hosted by the Green Bay Packers and Greater Green Bay Community Foundation.
The 2026 day of giving will kick off at noon Feb. 25 and run until noon the following day.
“Give BIG Green Bay amplifies the critical work of our nonprofits by sharing their powerful stories and celebrating the power of local giving,” said Dennis Buehler, president and CEO of the Greater Green Bay Community Foundation, in a news release. “We’re proud that this day stands out among other giving days. Over the last eight years, nonprofits participating in Give BIG Green Bay raised on average 2-3 times more than those participating in the five largest giving day events across the country.”
The selected nonprofits represent 11 areas of impact, showcasing the strength and diversity of nonprofits serving Brown County. Each group varies in size and experience, but makes an important impact on the community.
“This partnership allows us to support and raise funds and awareness for these incredibly important initiatives in our community,” added Packers President/CEO Ed Policy.
We encourage fans here in greater Green Bay, as well as those who support the local Packers community from afar, to learn more about these organizations and donate at any level they can.
The Green Bay Packers Foundation is once again providing a $250,000 grant to create a matching pool of funds. With the support of other donors, more than $550,000 in matching funds and incentives will be available.
Since Give BIG Green Bay got its start less than a decade ago, more than 55,000 gifts have been made, totaling over $17 million to benefit 154 nonprofits.
In 2025, a record $3.5 million was raised from more than 5,800 donors. On average, 41% of people who gave were new donors to at least one organization they supported.
