GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — The Green Bay Police Department is asking for information about and footage of a multi-vehicle crash on I-41 that left a woman with life-threatening injuries.
Just before 5:15 p.m. Wednesday, officers responded to northbound I-41 between the Lombardi Avenue and West Mason Street exits for a “chain reaction of crashes.” Police said Friday a dark-colored sedan may have been traveling erratically across all lanes of traffic, causing drivers to brake abruptly, which led to several crashes.
A 22-year-old Howard woman, who was driving one of the vehicles involved, sustained life-threatening injuries and remains hospitalized.
Authorities are seeking relevant dashcam or video footage as they continue to investigate the cause of the crashes. Click here to upload your media.
