(247NEWSSOURCE) – The Milwaukee Bucks dropped their sixth game in a row.
Milwaukee lost 106-103 to the Miami Heat on the road.
Ryan Rollins led the team with 26 points, while Myles Turner added 24 of his own in the setback. Gary Trent Jr. added 15 points.
Bucks coach Doc Rivers said the team played better defense and it gave them a chance to win.
Rivers talked more about the defense.
The loss was the first for the Bucks in an NBA Cup group state game. Milwaukee had been 10-0 in that round since the tournament began.
Giannis Antetokounmpo was listed as questionable heading into the game but then changed to “out” shortly before the game.
Rivers talked about why that was the right thing to do.
Tyler Herro led Miami with 29 points.
The Bucks will wrap up their brief, two-game road trip Friday against the New York Knicks before returning home to host Brooklyn on Saturday.
The game can be heard beginning at 6 p.m. on 99.7 and 101.9 WNFL.
