GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — An annual holiday event in Green Bay is expanding this season.
The Festival of Trees is returning to the National Railroad Museum, extending for the first time into the newly opened Fox River Expansion. That means more space for more trees, according to museum officials.
It features dozens of uniquely-decorated trees designed by local businesses and community organizations, set among the backdrop of the museum’s locomotives, railcars and exhibits.
The event, which draws over 20,000 visitors each year, opens Thursday and runs through Jan. 4. Tree sponsorships help support the growth of educational programming and the preservation of historic collections.
The Festival of Trees is included with daily admission to the museum. For more information on hours, admission or upcoming events, click here.
