GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — A camper fire was caused my improper use of a candle, Green Bay Metro Fire Department says.
Around 4:42 a.m. Wednesday, crews were dispatched to 519 Lake Street for a report of a camper that was on fire.
When crews arrived, they saw a camper fully engulfed and close to a garage.
Access to the camper fire was difficult as the address was on a dead end street.
One occupant was evaluated and released by medical.
The adjacent garage was protected and saved.
Fire Marshalls determined that the fire was caused by improper use of a candle and damages were estimated to be around $4,000.
