GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — There will be lane closures on a bridge in downtown Green Bay next week.
The city’s public works department says crews will be doing maintenance work on the Ray Nitschke Memorial Bridge, which connects Dousman and Main streets across the Fox River. The work is scheduled to begin on Tuesday and wrap up on Friday.
During that stretch, there will be single lane closures on the bridge between N. Broadway and N. Washington Street.
Boaters who need the bridge to open are asked to give a two-hour notice directly to the bridgetender from 7 a.m.-10 p.m. daily. Boats that can pass under the closed bridge can continue to do so at all times.
