(247NEWSSOURCE/LEARFIELD) INDIANAPOLIS – The Milwaulee Bucks fell to the Indiana Pacers in a comical ending from Indianapolis.
Giannis Antetokounmpo fouled Tyrese Haliburton with three seconds left at the three-point line, but the guard drained the shot and hit the game-winning free throw to give the Pacers a 115-114 win.
Bucks coach Doc Rivers said the coaches didn’t have the Bucks set up right defensively.
Rivers said that they didn’t have anyone covering Haliburton.
Antetokounmpo talked about Haliburton’s game-winner.
Brook Lopez led the Bucks with 23 points. Antetokounmpo had 19 points and 17 rebounds while Taurean Prince and Damian Lillard had 18 and 15 points, respectively.
Pascal Siakam scored 25 points to lead the Pacers. Haliburton finished with 14 points.
Milwaukee has lost three straight and dropped to 36-and-28.
The Bucks host the Lakers tomorrow night.
