Update:
Sunday morning officers with the Fond du Lac Police Department arrested a 19-year-old man from Menasha suspected of starting a fire at an office space leased to U.S. Representative Glenn Grothman.
Officials say the fire was started and quickly put out without injuries early Sunday morning at a strip mall on N. Peters Ave. in Fond du Lac.
Not long after the fire was put out FDLPD officers found the man near the strip mall. Police say the man admitted to starting the fire in response to recent talks of a TikTok ban.
He’s being held at the Fond du Lac County Jail and a charge of arson is being referred to the Fond du Lac County District Attorney’s Office.
