(WNFL/LEARFIELD) – Green Bay Packers coach Matt LaFleur took a look back at the season that was Tuesday in his final parry-and-thrust for the season with the media.
LaFleur said he still feels as disappointed as he did during the postgame on Sunday.
LaFleur said that turnovers against Philadelphia just killed them.
LaFleur talked about how quarterback Jordan Love went 7 straight games without a pick and then had 3 on Sunday. LaFleur said that while the Eagles defender made a good play, the first interception was on Love. LaFleur then analyzed pick No. 2.
LaFleur then gave his thoughts on pick No. 3
LaFleur then talked about the overall offensive issues against the Eagles.
And the sunset was calling: The Green Bay Packers are in the market for a quarterback coach. Tom Clements who mentored Brett Favre, Aaron Rogers and Jordan Love has decided at the age of 71 to call it a career. LaFleur talked about the work Clements did in his 2 stints with the Packers.
Clements, per LaFleur, just wants to ride off into the sunset.
