GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – A North Dakota man who traveled to Brown County and sexually assaulted a 14-year-old girl was convicted Tuesday, and will be sentenced Feb. 27.
Kelly Rosemore pleaded guilty to two counts: enticement of a minor, and committing a felony against a minor while required to register as a sex offender, court records show.
The first count carries a sentence of 10 years to life in prison, with count two carrying another 10-year sentence. Prosecutors will recommend a 30-year sentence, while Rosemore’s attorney will ask for 23 years behind bars, the plea agreement states.
According to the criminal complaint, the girl told investigators Rosemore began messaging her online last November.
The girl and Rosemore allegedly met in March at a hotel near Lambeau Field. The girl said Rosemore provided her with alcohol and had sexual contact with her.
The next time the two met was in April at a hotel in Howard. This time, the girl said the assault was more violent. The girl also said Rosemore later sent her a photo of the assault and threatened to show her father if she told anyone. The complaint says records from the Howard hotel confirm Rosemore checked in to a room on April 6.
