GREEN BAY, WI (WNFL) – Green Bay Packers coach Matt LaFleur knows the 49ers are just 5-5 but he is quite wary of the team from San Francisco anyway.
The 49ers are a very familiar opponent with this Sunday’s game the seventh meeting between the 2 teams since 2019.
The 49ers have the Packers’ attention, according the Green Bay head coach.
LaFleur said that they must be ready for a physical San Francisco linebacker Fred Warner.
Packers center Josh Myers talked about the 49ers defense.
But if Nick Bosa who is banged up can’t play, will that affect the play calling? LaFleur talked about that.
Meanwhile, San Francisco quarterback Brock Purdy left Thursday’s practice with a sore shoulder.
Hurt or not, LaFleur said that Purdy is purdy … errr … pretty good.
LaFleur continued to talk about Purdy.
The Packers and San Francisco will kick off at about 3:25 Sunday afternoon at Lambeau Field in Green Bay.
