APPLETON, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — Fire damaged a home on Appleton’s southeast side Tuesday night.
Firefighters said they were called to Welcome Circle around 7:30 p.m. The initial call reported a fire in a bedroom, with the people in the house evacuating. Crews arrived and immediately began fighting the fire and working to protect a neighboring house. It took 20 minutes to put out the fire.
No injuries were reported.
Damage was estimated at $120,000.
Firefighters are still investigating what caused the fire. Smoke detectors in the house were working properly.
