OUTAGAMIE COUNTY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – One person is dead and another is injured after a head-on collision Tuesday night in Outagamie County.
It happened at 10:20 p.m. on I-41 southbound at County Highway A, near Lynndale Drive in the town of Grand Chute.
According to the Wisconsin State Patrol, a 77-year-old Hortonville woman was traveling northbound in the southbound lanes of Interstate 41 and struck a southbound vehicle driven by a 27-year-old Neenah man.
The man was killed and the woman suffered non-life-threatening injuries. She was medically transported from the scene. Their names are not being released at this time.
The Wisconsin State Patrol Technical Reconstruction Unit is investigating the crash.
