DE PERE, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — St. Norbert College announced Monday the launch of its first non-credit online certificate offerings.
Officials say the non-credit programs are intended to meet the needs of community members and support lifelong learning. They will offer current students, along with working professionals and others, the chance to develop new skills and change or advance their career pathways.
Certification will be available in high-demand fields such as medical assistant, cybersecurity analyst, applied data science with python and project management. In the coming months, SNC says it will roll out additional programs within healthcare, information technology, cybersecurity, cloud computing, and management and leadership.
SNC says the programs will be fully online, affordable and offered outside the traditional curriculum.
“These certificate offerings reflect our commitment to the liberal arts tradition, which calls us to cultivate a passion for lifelong learning,” said SNC President Laurie M. Joyner in a news release.
By offering flexible, high-quality online certificate programs, we support learners at all stages of life and career while honoring our Norbertine value of stabilitas loci – a deep commitment to serving the needs of our local community and beyond. With these additions, we now provide a full suite of offerings – residential, graduate, and online – that can meet the demands of today’s changing student population and higher education landscape.
