(WNFL/LEARFIELD) – Even though Jordan Love practiced in the rain with the rest of the Packers on Thursday, there is still some doubt about whether or not he or Malik Willis will be under center when the Packers and Lions kick off at 3:25 on Sunday in Lambeau Field in Green Bay.
Packers running back Josh Jacobs talked about how much more comfortable with Malik Willis if he plays on Sunday.
Jacobs talked about the uncertainty of who plays quarterback.
About those Lions: Since the Lions will be trying to keep Jacobs from piling up yards like he did against Jacksonville, Jacobs talked about what he see’s from the Lions defense.
He also talked about whether or not they want to sustain long drives to keep the ball away from the potent Lions offense.
That Lions offense: Linebacker Kingsley Engabare was asked how impressed is he with the Lions offense.
The Lions have a pair of good running backs in David Montgomery and Jahmyr Gibbs and Engebare talked about facing two good running backs.
Engebare talked about where does the Lions offense starts.
We’re talking playoff? Engebare answered the question, with the calendar turned over to November, how big is this game?
Wanna bet? The Lions were listed at 4.5 point favorites early in the week but as the thinking started pointing toward Jordan Love potentially playing the Lions slipped to just a 3.5 point favorite.
