SCHLESWIG, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — Bail is set for a man accused of stealing more than $30,000 worth of copper wire from a Manitowoc County business.
The man was arrested last week following a nearly three-week-long investigation into a series of copper thefts.
He also attended a bail hearing for the charges of theft, trespassing, criminal damage to property, possession of burglarious tools along with an enhancer of habitual criminality. During that hearing, bail was set at $2500. The man is also being held for a probation violation.
No formal charges have been filed.
