(WNFL/LEARFIELD) – After considerable criticism about its offense, the Wisconsin Badgers exploded for 52 points in their win over the Purdue Boilermakers on Saturday.
Wisconsin Badgers offensive co-ordinator Phil Longo told the media yesterday that you couldn’t ask for much more than what they did last week against Purdue.
Longo talked about the performance by quarterback Braedyn Locke who threw for over 350 yards.
And then there is freshman wide reeceiver Trech Kekahuna who was named the Big Ten’s Freshmen of the Week after catching 6 passes for 134 yards.
Longo said that Kekahuna answered the call when needed the most.
The Badgers play Rutgers in Piscataway, New Jersey on Saturday.
