GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — The public is invited to give their feedback on the future of Green Bay’s Mason Street Bridge.
A public meeting is set for Wednesday, Sept. 25 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Neville Public Museum.
A November 2021 inspection of the Mason Street Bridge, formally known as the Donald A. Tilleman Bridge, confirmed reconstruction or replacement would be needed to maintain the long-term operation of the bridge.
The public meeting will review corridor alternatives developed since the first public meeting last year. The study team will show detailed maps, exhibits, displays of possible improvements to allow for a full understanding of possible alternatives to the current structure and approach roadways. Reconstruction or replacement of the bridge is scheduled for 2032.
The public is asked to review the alternatives and provide comment. The project team will be available for one-on-one questions and discussions following the initial presentation.
Members of the public who are unable to attend the meeting, or would like more information, can contact Bryan Lipke, P.E., WisDOT Project Manager, 944 Vanderperren Way, Green Bay, WI 54304; Phone: 920-492-5703; Email: Bryan.Lipke@dot.wi.gov.
