GREENVILLE, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) โ Construction is set to begin on a stretch of State Highway 96 in Outagamie County.
The $1.1 million project will resurface 1.3 miles of State Highway 96 from approximately Cleary Court to Tower View Drive in the town of Greenville and the village of Greenville.
Construction begins Monday.
The intersection of State Highway 96 and State Highway 76 will be closed for approximately two weeks at the start of construction. The project will finish in mid-September 2024.
Detours are as follows:
- State Highway 96 detour: Eastbound State Highway 96 โ Go north on County M, east on WIS 15, south on County CB to rejoin State Highway 96. Vice versa for westbound.
- State Highway 76 detour: Northbound State Highway 76 โ Go east on US Highway 10, north on County CB, then west on State Highway 15 to rejoin State Highway 76. Vice versa for southbound.
State Highway 96 will remain open with flagging operations for construction outside of the State Highway 96/State Highway 76 intersection.
Local, business, and emergency access will be maintained at all times.
