MANITOWOC, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – Manitowoc is now home to a huge fishing bobber that may be the largest in the whole world.
The giant gas sphere at the Manitowoc Wastewater Treatment Facility was repainted earlier this week.
The idea was first conceived in 2015.
The city approved the project earlier this year.
The paint was donated by Erin and Don LaBonte. Elliott’s Painting Service painted the red and white portion of the sphere. The mural was painted by Hallman Lindsey Paint.
