OSHKOSH, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – Graduations for Oshkosh West and North high schools will be held at UW-Oshkosh’s Kolf Sports Center – not the Oshkosh Arena – due to the uncertainties surrounding the for-sale arena.
The graduation dates and times remain unchanged:
Oshkosh West Graduation: Saturday, May 25 at 10 a.m.
Oshkosh North Graduation: Saturday, May 25 at 4 p.m.
“This location change comes due to uncertainty surrounding the future of the previously scheduled venue, the Oshkosh Arena, as it is currently up for sale,” said a district statement.
“We are grateful to the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh for their partnership and support in hosting our graduation ceremonies,” said Dr. Bryan Davis, Oshkosh Area School District superintendent. “Our goal is to provide our graduates with a memorable celebration, and relocating to the Kolf Sports Center allows us to proceed seamlessly with our scheduled graduation dates and times.”
Apart from the new location, all other details regarding the graduation ceremonies will remain the same, including no tickets and no limit on the number of guests per graduate.
