Decided to smoke some pulled pork this weekend. This pic is pre-smoke. Just a little yellow mustard to help the rub stick and a nice liberal layer of rub. *The t-shirt is an homage to my friends in the Plastered Pork BBQ team.
Here’s what you’ll need:
- 1/2 cup dark brown sugar
- 1/4 cup garlic powder
- 1/4 cup kosher salt
- 1/4 cup paprika
- 1 Tbsp onion powder
- 1/2 Tbsp dry mustard
- 1/2 Tbsp Cajun seasoning
- 1/2 Tbsp chili powder
- 1/2 Tbsp red pepper flakes
- 1/2 Tbsp cumin
- 1/2 Tbsp black pepper
Mix ingredients together in a small bowl. Sprinkle liberally on pork, chicken or beef. Store in a sealed container.
