GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — A trio of Green Bay Packers stars revealed major details of the 2024 Green Bay Charity Softball Game.
Packers’ starting quarterback Jordan Love and starting running back Aaron Jones will join all-time leading wide receiver Donald Driver to headline this year’s game, which will be an offense vs. defense showdown.
This year’s game will be a “Friday Night Lights” edition on May 10, 2024 at 7:05 p.m.
Because the game takes place on Mother’s Day Weekend, a pre-game tailgate party will include flowers, chocolates and massages for Mom, along with face painting, a bouncy house and games for kids.
“We’re going to bring out all the guys, bring out the fun, bring the party, the music and dancing, make it special for the mothers as well. I’m excited to be a part of it again, it’s truly a blessing. Let’s sell some tickets,” Jones said.
Tickets are on sale now and cost $80 for a premium box seat (first two rows), $55 for a standard box seat, $33 for a reserved bleacher seat, and $15 for a general admission grass seat. A limited number of patio tables, which seat four people, are also available for $295 and include a softball signed by Driver.
The annual Charity Softball Game is hosted at Fox Cities Stadium and has become a staple event in Northeast Wisconsin. Last year, the match drew a sell-out crowd of over 5,000 fans, with more than 40 current and former Packers players participating.
“It’s one of those things that’s been a Packers tradition, so I’m just honored to continue that tradition and keep it going,” Love said. “We’re looking forward to it and we’re excited. It’s going to be fun.”
